About TotalGPA

Our Story & Why We Built TotalGPA

TotalGPA was built in 2024 by Shiva Sharan Shrestha because I couldn't find a single GPA calculator in Nepal that accurately implemented the official credit-hour and grading scales across Tribhuvan University (TU), Kathmandu University (KU), Pokhara University (PU), Purbanchal University, and the National Examinations Board (NEB). As a student, I was frustrated by generic global calculators that didn't account for Nepal's specific credit-hour rules, non-credit subjects, letter-to-point mappings, and division rules, leading to inaccurate results.

I realized that thousands of Nepali students faced the exact same confusion every semester when trying to compute their SGPA, CGPA, or percentage equivalents for transcripts and scholarships. So, I decided to build a dedicated educational platform that directly translates complex official university examination guidelines into fast, accurate, and user-friendly digital calculators. Today, TotalGPA serves students across all 7 provinces of Nepal, providing reliable calculation tools for SEE, Grade 11 & 12, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees.

Our Mission

We believe that every student in Nepal deserves access to simple, reliable, and transparent academic tools to calculate their GPA and CGPA without confusion or hidden costs. Our mission is to empower students by providing practical calculators based on publicly available grading references from NEB, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, and Purbanchal University.

Whether you're a Grade 10 student preparing for SEE, a Class 12 student planning college admissions, or a university student aiming for Dean's List honors, TotalGPA is here to help you track your academic progress with total confidence.
